During a course of graphic design, we had to create a poster series for a cultural site. The Romandie is a club by a group of volunteers who is active in rock and alternative music in the heart of Lausanne (Switzerland). The challenge was to create a poster series that could last a whole season by remaining simple and recognizable at a low cost.
I chose to use the hands and the symbols so they can represent the moment when one throw the arms up in the air to express the joy. Rock, groove or even reggae, everyone can find their style here. The superposition of both hands symbolizes the luminous atmosphere of the concerts with stroboscopes.
